Tziupele Riserva is a still red wine Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Riserva made from Cannonau grapes and a small part from Monica, produced in Sennori by the Mode Winery in the Romangia sub-region of Sardinia.

This fine, full-bodied Sardinian red wine comes from Cannonau vines cultivated at 180 metres above sea level on calcareous-marly soils, with a yield per hectare of less than 50 quintals.

Harvesting is manual. After about 20 days of alcoholic fermentation and maceration in stainless steel, the wine matures for 15 months in 500l tonneaux and is refined in the bottle for at least 6 months.

Tziupele Riserva Cannonau di Sardegna DOC is an intense ruby red colour with garnet hues.

The nose opens with elegant notes of ripe red fruits such as blackberry and plum followed by spicy hints of black pepper, cloves and liquorice.

The palate is full, velvety and enveloping with well-integrated soft and ripe tannins. The structure is harmonious with a good aromatic persistence ending on a pleasant mineral note.

A wine with great personality suitable for accompanying roasts, braised meats, game and mature cheeses. Excellent for enhancing typical Sardinian cuisine.

It should be enjoyed at the recommended serving temperature of 16-18 °C.

Produced in a very limited quantity: vintage 2020, only 600 bottles.
