The “Martis Sero Horo Granazza” from the Vignaioli Cadinu winery is a white wine obtained exclusively from Granatza grapes grown in the “Fittiloghe” vineyard, located at 700 meters above sea level in the town of Mamoiada in Sardinia.

These eighty-year-old vines, trained in a bush-vine style on granitic decomposed soil, impart a unique character to the Martis Sero Horo.

The harvest is carried out manually in the month of September, with low yields of only 40 quintals per hectare. After a 15-day maceration on the skins, a gentle pressing is carried out to enhance the varietal notes. Fermentation occurs spontaneously thanks to indigenous yeasts.

The wine matures for 12 months in exhausted oak barrels and an additional 6 months in the bottle.

The Martis Sero Horo pairs well with medium-aged cheeses and is perfect for accompanying pasta dishes with meat sauce and seafood soups.

Production is extremely limited, with only 500 fine bottles produced.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 12-14 °C to enhance its organoleptic qualities.
