Nicò is a still white wine Isola dei Nuraghi IGT, made from Vermentino and Moscato grapes, produced by Azienda Viticola Terre di Ossidiana.

Vermentino and Moscato grapes are grown in vineyards on the slopes of Mount Arci in the Marrubiu area, on volcanic soil with obsidian disintegration.

In the winery: crushing and destemming, soft pressing, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This is followed by aging in steel and bottle for several months.

Nicò wine made from Vermentino and Moscato has a bright yellow color with greenish highlights.

The nose gives a citrus note, of grapefruit, lime, orange zest and a salty note with touches of ginger and thyme, the final touch is of gooseberry. In the mouth it is dry with nice persistence and depth.

At the table perfect companion for raw and first courses of seafood cuisine, fish dishes, shellfish and light appetizers.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 8-10 °C.

The label depicts “Sa Bértula,” which has ancient origins and is strongly linked to Sardinian peasant traditions. It was carried on the man’s shoulder or placed on the horse’s back, and kept the necessities for travel.
