The Rosé Cannonau di Sardegna DOC from Faragò Estates in Serdiana is a rosé wine that expresses the essence of the Cannonau grape variety in purity, the main red grape variety in Sardinia. Cultivated on soils characterised by clay, silt and important limestone blocks, it covers an area of 3 hectares, offering good structure, balance and elegance.

The grapes, harvested by hand and carefully selected, are gently destemmed and pressed. After careful cold static clarification, the must ferments in steel vats for about 10 days at a temperature of between 15° and 18 °C. The wine then matures in stainless steel tanks on its lees for about 6 months before being bottled young to preserve the aromas and typical characteristics of the vine vinified in white.

The result of this careful vinification is a rosé wine with a soft pink colour, embodying the delicacy and determination typical of its profile. The complex and elegant aromas anticipate a taste experience that confirms the character and extraordinary versatility of this grape variety. Thanks to the influence of the terroir, the wine is full of flavour, but at the same time fresh and easy to drink.

Faragò Estates’ Rosé Cannonau di Sardegna DOC lends itself to multiple gastronomic pairings. Perfect as an aperitif, it is equally suited to accompany seafood or meat starters, light first courses and white meats.

It is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 6 and 8 degrees, to fully appreciate its qualities.
