Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Rosato Nudo is a rosé wine of great character and elegance, produced exclusively from Cannonau grapes from the Siddùra winery in the region of Sardinia.

The soils are sandy, derived from the disintegration of granite, with an altitude of 250m above sea level. The yield per hectare is 70 quintals and the vineyards are trained by spurred cordon, with a density of 5600 plants per hectare.

The grapes were harvested and pressed immediately in a soft manner. The must remained in steel at a low temperature before fermenting for 15 days at 12-13°C. Maturation took place sur lies for several months before bottling in winter.

The colour is a delicate soft pink. The nose expresses intense aromas of exotic fruit, pink grapefruit and pineapple, with citrus notes and hints of small red fruits.

The palate is dry, savoury and fresh, with good balance and persistence. An elegant and pleasant rosé, perfect as a summer aperitif or to accompany fish dishes, white meats and pasta with light sauces.

It should be served chilled at 12-113 °C and will be best appreciated within three years of the harvest.
