Vermouth di Sardegna is a flavoured drink made from Nuragus wine, alcohol, sugar, plant extracts and flavourings produced by Pure Sardinia.
Nuragus wine from an indigenous Sardinian vine, matured for two years in steel, is left to infuse typical Sardinian wild herbs such as Helichrysum, Myrtle, Sage, Thyme and Artemisia for 30 days, with a final addition of alcohol and sugar.
Vermouth di Sardegna has a deep amber colour, clear and dense. The nose is aromatic, vinous and intense, with clear hints of medicinal herbs, honey, dried fruit, cinchona, spices and finally Mediterranean scrub.
In the mouth it is sweet supported by a fresh and pleasant acidity, ample, enveloping and velvety, very persistent. Hints of dried fig, date, almond, spices, citrus fruits. The finish leaves the mouth in perfect balance between acidity, savouriness and sweetness.
It is recommended to taste at a temperature of 10-12 °C.
