Raro Wild Mirto by Pure Sardinia is a sweet Sardinian myrtle liqueur made from the alcoholic infusion of freshly picked wild red myrtle berries, water and sugar, produced in Sardinia.
Liquore di Mirto Sardo Raro Wild Myrtle liqueur is produced by infusing a high quantity of fresh Sardinian wild red myrtle berries for several months in beet molasses alcohol. Subsequent filtration and addition of a syrup consisting of water and sugar.
Rare Wild Myrtle is ruby-purple red in colour, dense and impenetrable. The nose is ethereal, balsamic, with clear hints of Mediterranean scrub, fresh fruit and the essential oil in the plant.
Sweet on the palate, enveloping, warm, velvety, with remarkable persistence of fruit, blended with a delicately bitter note and a slight tannic aftertaste.
It is recommended to serve cold or iced.
