Koro Elisir Amaro is a sweet liqueur made from an alcoholic infusion of fresh red myrtle berries, wild and medicinal Sardinian herbs and plants, water, sugar, from Pure Sardinia.
Pure Sardinia’s Koro Elisir Amaro sweet liqueur is produced by infusing a high quantity of fresh Sardinian wild red myrtle berries, herbs, wild and medicinal plants for several months in beet molasses alcohol.
Subsequent filtration and addition of a syrup consisting of water and sugar.
Koro Elisir Amaro has a fairly dense, maraschino-red colour. The nose is ethereal, balsamic, with clear hints of Mediterranean scrub, helichrysum, myrtle, liquorice and aniseed.
In the mouth it is bitter, warm, enveloping and velvety, slight tannic aftertaste, very persistent. It leaves the palate clean and balanced.
It is recommended to serve cold.
