Basca from Tenute Pedra Niedda di Sini in Sardinia is a still red wine Cannonau di Sardegna DOC, made from pure Cannonau grapes.

In the cellar, alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel for ten days at a temperature of 26° C. Daily pumping over or punching down is carried out to ensure a good extraction of the aromatic and colouring components.

The wine is matured 80% in steel and the remaining 80% in French oak tonneaux. After six months, the two masses are blended, and a brief passage in steel for a further two months completes the ageing period in the cellar.

Basca Cannonau di Sardegna DOC is a wine that expresses all the warmth of Sardinia with its intense red fruit aromas and flavours. Elegant, harmonious and persistent, it offers decisive and vibrant aromas and an important freshness.

Basque is best appreciated in the first five years.

On the table it perfectly accompanies cold meats and cheeses, earthy first courses and not very fatty roasts.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
