Domo is a Mandrolisai DOC red wine, the first wine produced by the Demelas family of Atzara, made from Cannonau, Bovale Sardo, Monica and Barbera Sarda grapes.

The vineyard is located in Località S’Ulimu, Atzara, planted in 2010 and is cultivated using the espalier training system (double cordon) on granite decay soil with a yield per hectare of 45 quintals.

The manually harvested grapes are taken to the winery where the vinification process begins with maceration of the crushed and destemmed grapes for a period of 7 days, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of between 25 and 28 °C, and periodic pumping over.

Domo is matured for 9 months in steel and a further 5 months in the bottle.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 16-18 °C.

The name: in the Sardinian language Domo, from the Latin Domus, means house. Home as a symbol of Family, a space that protects us and makes us feel safe; a place where we can live alone or share with other people. Or it can happen that we feel at home while we are with certain people, no matter where we are. For these reasons, the Demelas family decided to name its first-born son DOMO.
