Orgosa is a Cannonau di Sardegna DOC still red wine made from only Cannonau grapes produced by the Orgosa Winery of Orgosolo in Sardinia.

Cannonau grapes are grown in soils composed of granite disintegration sandstone, at an altitude of 450-600 meters above sea level, in the Orgosolo countryside.

A Cannonau obtained through biodynamic farming system, without the use of chemical fertilizers or systemic treatments.

In the cellar, fermentation takes place spontaneously through the use of indigenous yeasts for between 7 and 10 days. Aged for 6-7 months in stainless steel.

Orgosa Cannonau di Sardegna DOC, presents a deep ruby red color to the eye.

The nose gives intense balsamic scents typical of the Mediterranean maquis, such as myrtle and juniper and hints of small red berries such as blueberry, slightly spicy.

A Cannonau of great character, full and elegant, balanced tannin and acidity, surprising in the mouth with a blood orange finish.

At the table it is exalted with di red meats, porcetto, very tasty cheeses.

It is recommended to taste at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
