Parèda IGT Organic is a red wine from the town of Meana Sardo, specifically from the Mandrolisai area in the heart of Sardinia produced by the Cantina Meana Terra del Mandrolisai winery. Classified as I.G.T. (Indicazione Geografica Tipica), this wine represents the authentic expression of the typical and indigenous grape varieties of this region.

The vineyards of Parèda IGT Organic are cultivated using the alberello or espalier system on shale soils. The plants follow organic farming practices and are located at an ideal altitude for obtaining quality grapes. Their age ranges from 30 to 50 years and more, which gives the wine a distinctive depth and complexity.

Grapes are harvested by hand in 20 kg crates and carefully selected. Vinification takes place at a controlled temperature of 26 to 28°C, with 12 to 14 days of maceration in stainless steel containers. Afterwards, the wine briefly rests in oak barrels and further ages in the bottle for 4 months.

Parèda IGT Biological shows a deep ruby red color with light garnet hues. Its aroma is intense and enveloping, with predominant notes of red fruit, morello cherry and plum. The palate is dry, savory, round-bodied and with good olfactory persistence.

This wine pairs beautifully with aged cheeses, but can also be enjoyed with simple, delicate dishes. Its alcohol content is 15% Vol and the recommended serving temperature is 18°C.
