Località Arenosu - Alghero

Cantina Ledà

TheAzienda Agricola Ledà has an area of 18 hectares and is located in the countryside of Alghero, at the foot of the Monte Doglia, in an area that in the early 1900s underwent agrarian reclamation and was later recognized as particularly suited for the cultivation of wine grapes, so much so that it was awarded the Denominazione di Origine Controllata Alghero DOC.

The farm is located within the perimeter of the Porto Conte Natural Park and follows the agronomic practices of the SQNPI sustainable production specification under control of certifying body.

The area currently devoted to vineyards, growing small plots of Vermentino, Cagnulari, Cannonau, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes, is about 6 hectares. The vineyards, with calcareous-clayey-sandy soil, favor wines with excellent structure and intense aromas, to which the proximity to the sea gives an added minerality.

Since the first bottling in 2003, artisanal care has been reserved for the field work, all strictly by hand, and the company philosophy of founder Antonella Ledà d'Ittiri, who is joined by her children Annamaria and Paolo, is that of small, quality productions that best express the production territory.

The winery is equipped internally near the vineyards with its own winemaking and bottling cellar. In the 2021 vintage, about 16,000 units were bottled divided into multiple references.
