Traccia is an Isola dei Nuraghi IGT red wine produced in Tissi, Sardinia, by the Giovanni Camboni Winery, made from pure Cagnulari grapes.
This wine is made using only grapes from the Cagnulari grape variety, which are harvested by hand and selected with great care.
After crushing and destemming, fermentation on the skins is started at a controlled temperature, using indigenous or selected yeasts. This stage lasts about ten days. Next, the crushed grapes are pressed and separated from the must, which then undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Aging takes place in steel and in bottle. This wine has an extraordinary capacity for aging, exceeding even ten years.
Giovanni Camboni’s Traccia Cagnulari wine has a deep ruby red color with purplish highlights.
This is a full-bodied, well-structured wine that is characterized by its floral notes, herbs and hints of fruit and jam. It can be consumed either immediately or left to mature for a few years to appreciate its evolution over time.
