Myali is a still white wine Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, made only from Vermentino grapes, produced in Sardinia by Cantina Castiglia di Calangianus.
Vermentino grapes are grown in vineyards at an altitude of 150-200 metres above sea level with a yield of 60 quintals per hectare and a planting density of 6000 plants per hectare. The guoyt-trained vineyards are north-south facing.
Harvesting is done by hand in boxes during the first week of September.
In the wine cellar, fermentation takes place for 15 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, maturation for 9 months in temperature-controlled stainless steel and two months in the bottle.
Myali Vermentino di Gallura DOCG is a bright straw yellow wine with fine, elegant aromas of exotic fruit and citrus fruits.
In the mouth, it is fresh, linear, enveloping, savoury and mineral, with a bitter almond aftertaste.
At the table it goes perfectly with fish dishes, raw seafood and white meats. Excellent as an aperitif.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 8-10 °C.
