Cantina Canu was founded in 2020 in the small village of Luogosanto in Gallura, a historical and geographical subregion of Sardinia on the slopes of the granitic Ghjuanni Mountains,
Cantina Canu can count 7 hectares of vineyards rooted in the soil of Gallura, in a nature reserve of about 240 hectares, among granite rocks and centuries-old olive trees, streams and wide views that reach the sea.
Perfect Unterroir where Cantina Canu cultivates the area's prince grape variety, Vermentino di Gallura.
The goal is to produce direct and genuine wines that communicate love for the land and the strength of family ties under the banner of wine and good living.
The winery currently produces three wines, the white Deispanta, Vermentino di Gallura DOCG; Bibi, Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Rosato; and Porteddu, a red, also from Cannonau di Sardegna grapes-all born out of love for this beautiful land.
