In the hills of Bono, in the heart of the Goceano region of Sardinia, the Mulas winery produces one of the island’s most distinctive and intriguing white wines: Niadu Arvesiniadu Isola dei Nuraghi IGT.

This wine is made from 100 per cent Arvesiniadu grapes, an ancient and very rare indigenous grape variety cultivated in the 2 hectares of vineyards that the company owns in Nurcoro. The grapes of this variety, which only grow in this area, are harvested by hand and vinified with passion and dedication.

Niadu Arvesiniadu is clear, with a beautiful straw-yellow colour. The nose expresses a delicate and delicately fruity perfume. The palate is dry, savoury, with a good acid structure balanced by a pleasant softness.

This wine can be served as an excellent aperitif, but also goes well with fish dishes, shellfish, white meats and fresh to medium-mature cheeses. Its finesse and elegance make it suitable for convivial moments as well as more formal occasions.
